Is Aveeno Cruelty-Free?
Aveeno’s cruelty-free policies are pretty vague. In a statement on their website, Aveeno says that they do not conduct animal testing on their products. But they fail to mention the ingredients that they use or any other third parties involved.
This could mean that their ingredients are tested on animals, or that they may even outsource animal testing to their suppliers or other third parties.
Aveeno also states that they only test their products on animals in situations where animal testing is required by law. This means that Aveeno still sells their products in Mainland China where animal testing is required.
All in all, Aveeno’s cruelty-free statement is lacking transparency. So because of this, it’s safe to assume that Aveeno is not truly cruelty-free.
Is Aveeno Certified Cruelty-Free?
No, Aveeno is not certified by any cruelty-free organization.
Is Aveeno Owned by a Third Party Company?
Yes, Aveeno is owned by Johnson & Johnson.
Is Aveeno Vegan?

A Final Note on Aveeno’s Cruelty-Free and Vegan Policies
