Is Crest Cruelty-Free?

We hate to report that Crest is not cruelty-free. They are owned by Proctor & Gamble, a non-cruelty-free company.

Is Crest Vegan

No, Crest is not vegan.

Vegan and Cruelty-Free Alternatives to Crest

Our top pick, hands down, has to be Hello Toothpaste.

Many vegan and cruelty-free toothpastes taste *natural*, and we know not everyone’s into that. Some of us like the sickly sweet mintiness of brands like Crest, thank you very much. But of course, without the animal cruelty please!

We’ve found that Hello toothpaste has that same satisfying mint flavor like all the rest, minus the animal testing and animal ingredients. Hello also has many toothpaste options, including whitening and fluoride, as well as floss, mouthwash, and toothbrushes too, making the switch to cruelty-free effortless.

But there are also many more vegan and cruelty-free toothpaste options to choose from. We did a whole post on vegan and cruelty-free dental products awhile back. But we’ve found that Hello takes the cake for Crest alternatives.

A Final Note on Crest’s Cruelty-Free and Vegan Status

Although Crest misses the mark, there are still many vegan and cruelty-free toothpaste alternatives that you can opt for instead. We found that the Hello brand to be the best one for the job. Happy shopping!
